Join us for a hands-on Mermaid & Pirate Sensory Adventure where little explorers will dive into a world of imagination, creativity, and discovery. Children will journey through five interactive activity stations, each featuring a unique sensory experience designed to encourage creativity, fine motor skills, problem-solving, and open-ended play.
What makes this adventure extra special? Throughout the event, children will discover Adventure Mission Cards at each station. These playful prompts encourage storytelling, imaginative play, counting, sorting, building, problem-solving, and teamwork as they help pirates search for buried treasure, rescue ocean creatures, and build magical underwater worlds for the mermaids. Every child is free to complete the missions in their own creative way, making each adventure uniquely their own.

🏴☠️ Treasure Beach
Dig through kinetic sand to uncover buried treasure, collect sparkling gems and gold coins, and complete pirate treasure missions.
🧜 Coral Reef Builders
Create a colorful underwater coral reef for the mermaids using playdough, vibrant pasta, shells, pearls, and ocean treasures.
🪼 Ocean Rescue
Help rescue sea creatures trapped inside a squishy ocean as pirates and mermaids work together to save the day.
🌊 Mermaid Lagoon Discovery
Search a magical shimmering lagoon filled with shells, pearls, gems, and hidden treasures using scoops, nets, and strainers.
🎨 Ocean Craft Station
Create an ocean-themed craft to take home as a special reminder of your adventure.

Recommended Ages: 1-6 years (Best suited for little explorers who are confidently walking and ready to enjoy hands-on sensory play alongside their accompanying adult. Every child develops at their own pace, so if you're unsure whether your little one is ready, feel free to reach out!)

Adult participation and supervision are required throughout the event.
We recommend wearing comfortable play clothes, as sensory play can get a little messy while making lots of wonderful memories!
Space is limited to provide every child with plenty of room to explore, create, imagine, and adventure.
Some sensory materials and small loose parts may present a choking hazard for young children. Children must be supervised by their accompanying adult at all times. Sensory materials and activities may vary slightly between events while maintaining the same magical Mermaid & Pirate Adventure experience.
Sensory play is any activity that encourages children to explore the world through their senses, including touch, sight, movement, and more. Whether they're digging for treasure, scooping shimmering water, building coral reefs, or rescuing sea creatures, children are learning through hands-on exploration and imaginative play.
At Little Crafters Co., we believe some of the best learning happens when children don't even realize they're learning. That's why every activity is thoughtfully designed to feel like an exciting adventure filled with creativity, discovery, and endless possibilities.
While your little explorer is searching for treasure, rescuing sea creatures, building coral reefs, and completing Adventure Missions, they're also developing important skills that support learning and everyday life.
Through sensory play, children naturally practice:

Our Adventure Mission Cards gently guide children through imaginative challenges while still allowing them the freedom to create, explore, and play in their own unique way. There are no right or wrong answers, just endless opportunities to learn through curiosity.
Whether your child spends the day searching for pirate treasure or creating an underwater kingdom for the mermaids, they'll leave with wonderful memories, new skills, and a love for creative play that continues long after the adventure ends.
To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, a parent or legal guardian must sign a participation waiver upon arrival before their child(ren) may begin exploring the sensory stations.
Checking in and completing the waiver only takes a few moments, and our team will be ready to welcome you to the adventure!
